Suzanne Murphy

Suzanne worked as a licensed practical nurse for many years on PEI with different avenues of experience in the nursing field. Dealing a lot with health issues pushed her  to research other avenues of work to provide  an income.

During an extended stay in BC, she was introduced to the Bowen technique. Her first response to something non-conventional or holistic was very skeptical. By nature Sue is curious  and felt she had to do some more research to find out just what the Bowen technique was. When she researched the technique what she read made sense .A light came on and she found she had to seek out the training. She felt she could help so many people back home (PEI).

Being a “doubting Thomas” she continued to test it out with the required case studies. They gave her the reassurance that the very gentle treatment was very effective

In March of 2007 Suzanne received her accreditation as a Bowen practitioner. Since then she has successfully completed advanced training from international teachers .These courses include :Mind and Body Bowen; Hidden pearls ;and specialized procedures. all training require a practical hands on assessment and a written exam.

Sue also hold s certificates in:  Medic Level III, first aid instructor, CPR instructors level, and business training. To continue as a Bowen Therapist there is a requirement to have 32 hours of continuing education every 2 years. Other training includes: Reiki  Level II, muscle testing, Angell therapy workshop and a short class in Shiatsu Therapy. Sue still keeps her nursing license active as well.

Sue looks forward to assisting clients on their journey toward total wellness.
